Can An Online Roulette Wheel Be Fair ?

Sunday, May 15th, 2011

It sounds quite simple but one of the hardest things to do for a computer is to produce a random number. It’s important to remember this as many computer programs need to be just that. Take any kind of electronic online game for instance like roulette, fruit machines and they all need a random number generator simply to make them fair. It should be of concern to anyone who everybody who wants to play online roulette especially if they do it regularly.

Unfortunately it really is tough for a computer to be random, simply because they have to be told how to do it. The computer processes the instructions, which are written by a programmer who determines how it should act. Just imagine how hard it is to produce instructions on how to be unpredictable, that is the dilemma. Actually it is pretty much impossible to be completely random all they can manage is to be Pseduo random. It’s actually difficult to spot the problem though – go and have a look at the spins produced at a free online roulette and see if you can see a pattern, I’ll bet you can’t.

There is another difficulty in that we are also hopeless at being random. We tend to want 50/50 chances to happen 50% of the time which is actually not going to happen that often surprisingly enough. Real random sequences can actually look very strange, with long, improbable sequences commonplace. It will not be surprising to players of martingale who have watched their system destroyed by unnatural sequences. Our neat, balance perception of what ‘random’ should look like usually ends up in the code of the computer programs.

When you’re playing some game online the problem is worst as the perception of the player is important. If we get an unlucky spin of a wheel or reel on an online game we get suspicious of the computer. If the same thing happened on a real roulette wheel, we’d just mark it down to bad luck. It’s especially dangerous if you’re running any sort of roulette systems which relies on a completely random gain.

For me this perception that everything is a series of code spoils the fun too much. I can’t enjoy computerised gambling as it doesn’t feel like lady luck is given a free reign. It probably explains why there are so many live video games online now, which stream physical games to your desktop.

Roulette Tips For New Players

Friday, October 29th, 2010

There are many people out there who think roulette is a very difficult game. There are some interesting and unconventional betting strategies out there, but that is the only part that can get complicated. The game itself is fairly easy to understand and you can learn to play in a few quick minutes.

If you are a novice player , we think we might be able to help you with some useful tips . First let’s have a look at how to play roulette. First you will place your bet on one of the numbers, a combination of them on red or black.

The roulette wheel is spun and the ball is placed in the spinning wheel where it bounces around. As the wheel slows down the ball will come to rest in one of the numbered slots and this is then matched up with the bets placed to decide the winners . Online roulette gambling is as easy as that.

Throwing you in there with only this will not get you to far and is not the best online roulette advice. So let’s look at a few tips that might result in getting a few more wins or at least keep you from losing money by playing recklessly .

Managing your money is one of the most important things to remember when playing roulette . If you hit a couple of winners, keep the winning separately and only play with them. Keep your initial chip stack away from the table .

If you get lucky and win even more , walk away and enjoy your wins. If you hit a bad run, just accept it. Don’t ever try to win back the money you have lost. You might get lucky and get back some of your losses or you might not and end up losinga lot .

Enjoy online roulette gambling and don’t get overly emotional about either a run of good or back luck. It might very well land you in loads of trouble if you start betting loosely .

How To Play Online Roulette Gambling

Wednesday, June 9th, 2010

Internet roulette is a well-liked pastime for millions of gamblers. If you are interested in trying your hand with roulette on the internet, you’ve come to the right place. All internet roulette takes is a secure virtual casino, a simple understanding of the rules and a link to the web.

Anyone are able to play online roulette for real money at any online casino. I constantly recommend you play at big name online casinos because they have built long standing reputations. Casinos like Cherry Red Casino and Rushmore Casino are known for offering fair odds and prompt cashouts.

Once you have an account at a big name roulette casino, you can gamble there whenever you want by logging in and making a deposit. Every casino includes a cashier area where you can load their funds and initiate withdrawals. Internet casinos feature multiple different funding methods that you are able to use to shift your money to and from your account.

Once you have a real money account, you may now place real money roulette wagers any time. Just turn on your casino application, sign in and choose your game. If you ever get tired of roulette, you’ll have plenty of other casino games to select from as well. Casino games such as blackjack, slots, pai gow poker and many more can all be played at real money online casinos.

Deposit Bonuses

One major drawback about roulette is that internet casinos don’t permit roulette bets to count when clearing deposit bonuses. As you may already realize, online casinos feature cash bonuses for players to sign up and play. The one catch is that you have to gamble a specific amount of money until the bonus is counted as “cleared” and released to you.

The other catch is that internet casinos don’t count roulette wagers towards your bonus wagering requirements. Roulette has such a small house advantage that gamblers could just sign up, claim a deposit bonus and release it by making a lot of 50/50 bets. That is how internet casinos have always been; they have no problem giving out free stuff, but only on their own terms.

To be perfectly frank, internet casino bonuses really aren’t worth the hassle. Casino bonuses come with so many restrictions and take so long to clear that they are basically useless. It does not hurt to get one, I guess, but it really doesn’t do much good. Poker bonuses work out very nicely but online casino bonuses don’t make as much sense.

Smart Roulette

Roulette is a gambling game that will always have a house edge. Even so, you can apply common sense strategy to roulette to give you the greatest odds possible. The most important bit of strategy information I can provide you is to always practice sensible bankroll management.

If you’re going to to play at an online roulette game for as long as possible and aim to catch a big hit, you have to place wagers that are small in relation to the size of your bankroll. For instance, I like to go with wagers that are equivalent 5% the size of my entire gambling bankroll. That makes it possible to stay in the game indefinitely, place a bunch of 50/50 bets and try to stay even while I make a straight-up wager on a particular number every spin.

My Personal Experience Of Using Roulette Killer

Saturday, February 27th, 2010

In this write up I am going to be speaking relative to a roulette betting software that’s called roulette killer which is designed to help you win at online roulette. Over the past few years roulette betting programs have become big business and roulette killer is one of the original ones from 2007.

The roulette killer website makes some bold claims about what can be achieved with the software. For example, there is a video of him playing using roulette killer and in it he makes $11000 in just 4 minutes, he also claims to have a Porsche 911 turbo which he paid for with his roulette winnings.

I like to think that I’m not gullible, I knew from the start that I wasn’t going to win the kind of money that the seller was talking about but I was hoping to earn a second income from using the software.

After looking at the program for the first time I had some immediate complaints. The first was that roulette killer doesn’t keep track of your bankroll or tell you how much to bet on each spin.

You’re only told where to bet but are given no instructions with regards to how much you need to bet which can become confusing, luckily I remember the seller saying on his sales page that progressive betting doesn’t work. With this in mind I decided it would be best to use roulette killer with flat bets only with no progression involved.

Roulette killer is based upon betting on the outside bets on the roulette table, these are the dozen/columns and the even money bets. You tell roulette killer what numbers came up in the last ten spins and then it tells you what to bet on.

The best way to describe how roulette killer works out what to bet on is by giving you an example. If in the last 10 spins there were six reds and four blacks roulette killer assumes that black is more likely because there were more reds than blacks over the last ten spins .

If I’m being honest i found that this just didn’t work at all. Some roulette systems can win money really quickly but then lose it quickly, with roulette killer this didn’t happen. From the moment I started playing I was losing consistently until I got bored using it.

Overall I don’t recommend roulette killer for a few reasons. My main concern is that the software doesn’t even come close to matching the claims on the website. Secondly the maker claims that the software is brand new but it isn’t new at all so I would advise you to stay away from it.
