The feud between Keslowski and Edwards all started at Talledega. On the last lap coming to the finish line Keslowski accidentally spun Edwards causing one of the worst wrecks of the year as Carl’s car caught air and slammed into the catch fence injuring as many as 6 fans in the stands. A few races later Edwards and Keslowski meet again at Atlanta. After Keslowski spins Edwards, Carl returns to the track on a mission to take out Keslowski and does succeed causing Keslowski’s car this time to catch air and flip over. Edward’s move was so intentional Nascar handed Edwards a 3 race suspension.
